Absolutely worth the wait!
That Roosters is 4 miles from the blue line, but there is one downtown, only a couple blocks from the rail line.
In there lot
Yes
I don't think so
Excellent service. The server guided us well. Excellent food. The short ribs were out of this world. The ribeye was delicious. The pork tenderloin was good. Fifth time dining here and disappointed.
Best place in Charlotte!! Amazing service and food! Try the calamari, ribeye, and corn!
I celebrated my birthday here and definitely wasn't impressed with the food. 2 items I order the buffalo mozzarella ball and strawberry margarita were out. The herb shrimp were too mushy for me, my mac and cheese was pretty good but the cheese is really sharp. My boyfriend ordered the duck and it was over cooked to a crisp and salty. The atmosphere, manager and waiter were really nice and courteous but the food is definitely par.
Amazing restaurant!!! I believe one of the absolute best in charlotte. The pan fried corn, steak, and potatoes al gratin. The service is the best I have EVER gotten! The flavors will blow you away. Will come back many times!
Our meal at Rooster's Wood-fired Kitchen was absolutely delicious. We had a cheese plate with a great bleu cheese and a creamy goat cheese which paired with some of the best roasted tomato soup I have ever eaten. My fried oysters were the best I've had since I was in New Orleans and my wife's hamburger was delicious as well. I would not hesitate going back and this has piqued my interest in the other restaurant's in this Group.
Excellent seasonal foods, sides, drinks and wine list. Perfect portions with incredible flavor. The chicken is fabulous and if bread pudding is available it’s a must try.
Pricey for sure. Burger tasted very gamey. Mac and cheese dish in cast skillet was amoung the best Ive had in any restraunt, and the corn was hands down best Ive ever had. Pizza was hit or miss, kids pizza was good while the aged cheese pizza they had we didnt bother to finish or take home. Personally i think its the lack of sauce on it that ruined it. Shame when the kids pizza was better, the pizza sauce is exceptional. Only issue is they are very sparing on sauces and toppings.
Took my boyfriend for his birthday last night and was not very impressed. We have always wanted to try this place and decided to give it a shot. It seemed everyone working here is either entitled or has an attitude. Each time we asked for something it is as if we were asking for the world. Not sure if this concept understands what customer service is all about. We, the guests left feeling As if we just wasted our money here
The soft shell crab sando was very good choice as an entree. Starting off with the crispy livers and calamari wasn't a bad idea either. Of course the chicken was tasty. And because of an order error I got to try the short rib sando as well. That ended up being a very beneficial error handle with expertise by our waiter.
I highly recommended this venue. We held a rehearsal dinner here, in one of their their private dining rooms, and everything was on point. The service was immaculate and the chef's execution of the menu was deliciously precise. I heard nothing but praise about the food from any of the 30 attendees.
Absolutely amazing food. Great service. Allison was our server. She was absolutely amazing. Very attentive. Quick. She knew the menu very well. We ordered off her recommendation. And it was amazing.
Great atmosphere, great tasting food. My server Seth recommended the lunch special meatloaf and it was delicious. I only wish the portion was a little larger!
Good ambiance. Mediocre service. Decent food.
Great dine-in place. We went on office dinner and ended up spending more than four hours at the place. The wine served was of good quality and the waiters were kind enough to explain our crowd in great detail the different offerings. The bartenders are fun, and they have enough space for kids to play as well. Overall nice place to spend quiet evening with your loved ones, but a bit on expensive side
Incredible! Get the coconut cake. You won't be disappointed.
Rooster’s is a phenomenal restaurant. The food, service and experience is always enjoyable. The charcuterie board is a great way to start — with meats and cheeses appealing to appetite and adventure if desired. The entree’s are exceptional with offerings ready to satisfy “crafted daily - chef-driven specials guided by the season.” The sides are also terrific and are large enough to share between two people. It’s best to order multiple sides.Definitely a favorite!
Delicious Southern cuisine with locally sourced ingredients that is big on taste and without pretense or cliche. The best Mac and cheese I have ever had, flavorful vinegar style bbq chicken, pan roasted corn that is so tasty you will wonder what magician grew it. One of the best meals I have ever had.
This place has become an institution for us. I can’t say enough about the consistency of the food and service. There is very little staff turnover. They also frequently seem to promote from within. Happy staff definitely reflects on the service. We are never disappointed by this restaurant, and would recommend it to anyone.
Food was great. Had the BBQ chicken (1/4) and the onion rings. Highly recommend. Service was also great. Love places that box your food for you. Makes me feel fancy.
Interesting place with a good selection of food. With a name like Roosters, I wasn't sure what would be on the menu. They have beef, chicken, salads and seafood so there is something for everyone. I had the chicken wings and a wedge salad. I received 15 wings for $18 and the small wedge salad was $10. My sister had the burger and fries. She said it was one of the best burgers she's eaten. The food was a little salty, but was excellent! The atmosphere was upbeat. The waiters were very attentive and made many visits. Watching the cook's do their thing was fun. There are stuffed Roosters all over the wall, which was a little creepy, but it's the name of the restaurant. My only complaint was the high price. Wings, salad, burger, fries, piece of cake, 3 craft beers and 3 Mich Ultras, $88+ grat = $106 total. If you don't mind spending a little extra for a great meal, this is highly recommended.⁸
Definitely try the wood fired chicken wings and Toffee pudding with Vanilla dessert.Pizza is average. Would recommend just ordering the wings.
So I’ve been coming here for a little over a decade. And I have NEVER been disappointed, not once. The staff has always been great/timely. The food has remand consistent in flavor, presentation, quality and overly amazingness. I’ve recommended to everyone and anyone. I have so many good things to say but the most important one, is thank you to the chefs and management for your continued service. When the food scene in Charlotte was flat (years ago) you were one of the only places I considered. Thank you for never changing and only doing better. My tastebuds and belly couldn’t be Happier!!!!
Visiting from Florida and was lucky to find this place. We ate here for lunch and I ordered the Brisket Burger, everything about it was perfect. The Mac and cheese was the greatest I've ever had and I highly recommend it. Service was quick which was great because we were in a bit of a rush. Madison did a great job. No complaints, would visit again.
The service was exceptional. The food looked great, but wasn't prepared the way I thought I had ordered it.
Upon initially entering, I was impressed with the atmosphere. However, after just a few minutes, I realized how loud it was. Conversation, I found to be difficult because of the volume. For me, the menu was rather limited. The service was better than adequate but not really anything beyond that. Food and drink were good, but not excellent.
We attended a Christmas Dinner Party at Roosters for 40 or so people. The table we sat at had 8 people. Food was served family style. The servings were very small and not enough to give 8 people even a small amount. No alcohol, tea or coffee included. We paid $45 per person. Could not believe what we got for what we paid!
I cannot say enough good things about the food at Rooster's. Most recently, I attended a meeting held in the private dinning space at the Southpark Mall location. Amazing food, we ate family-style, attentive servers, and a lovely atmosphere. I am already thinking about booking the same space for an upcoming meeting I need to host.
Father's day treat, shrimp and grits were great, topped off with coconut cake friendly service definitely recommend
Everything about Rooster's Southpark was STELLAR! Our waiter, Zach, was a pleasure and so helpful. We were a bit confused about a few sections on the menu and he took the time to clear everything up for us, which was so kind. We got a meat and cheese for appetizer and it was just wonderful. Then, we had the hanger steak, rainbow trout, fries, and mac & cheese for our entrees, and I can honestly say that it was one of the best meals we've ever had. I was so pleased that I asked Zach to get us the manager so we could pass off our compliments. The manager was also so kind and chatted with us for a bit. We will most definitely be back after this wonderful experience.
